Your $10 donation will be matched by Meijer yielding $20 to help our neighbors in need.
Donation cards are available at Meijer on Beckley Rd. from the cashiers and at the service desk or from your local Neighborhood Food Pantry.
THANK YOU!
Patrons are allowed to visit our pantries once every 2 weeks. If more frequent assistance is required, contact 211 for a referral.
Patrons must attend the pantry that their permanent address is assigned to. Please enter your address in the map below to find out which pantry is yours.
The Neighborhood Food Pantry Ministry was organized under the auspices of In One ACCORD in 1992 and the five pantries opened their doors under this designation on November 2, 1992. In 1999, the pantries became independent under the fiduciary umbrella of the Battle Creek Community Foundation. Our 6th pantry, Love Thy Neighbor Ministries, opened in May 2014.
This ministry is non-denominational and is supported through both monetary and food donations from churches, individuals service organizations, local businesses and grants through the Food Bank of South Central Michigan. Pantries are operated by volunteers and there are no paid positions.
Stop by your local pantry for more information or to check on volunteer needs.
Non-perishable and unopened food items can be donated directly to the pantry nearest you.
You can help out financially by specifying your food pantry and giving to either the Battle Creek Community Foundation or the South Michigan Food Bank.
